Consistent quality, returning customer

This isn't my first order from McGrail, and it definitely won't be my last. I've bought their Cabernet Sauvignon and their Rose of Cabernet Sauvignon several times now. They're always reliable. This latest order, for the James Vincent Cabernet, arrived just as expected, well-packed and in perfect condition. Their shipping has always been consistent for me, usually arriving within a week. It's why I keep coming back for more; I know what I'm getting, and it's always good.

Nice wine, minor shipping delay

I ordered the Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, which is consistently a favorite. The wine itself is excellent, really smooth and well-balanced. However, the shipping took a bit longer than I expected this time, about a week and a half to get to me in Florida, which felt a little slow compared to other wineries I've ordered from lately. The packaging was secure though, no issues with breakage. Price is fair for the quality, especially for a limited release. I wish there was a way to track the exact day it would arrive more precisely, as I almost missed the delivery.

They ship to Florida, I've had bottles sent there before for gifts. Usually takes a week or so, sometimes a bit longer if it's a busy time of year.

Yeah, they ship to most states. I'd expect around 5-7 business days for delivery to FL, maybe a bit more if it's super hot or cold out and they have to use special shipping.

Are McGrail wines worth it compared to say, Wente? I'm debating between their Cabernet and a Wente one for a special occasion.

Totally different vibes. McGrail is more boutique, family-owned, really focuses on that premium Cab. Wente is bigger, more widely available. If you want something a bit more special and intense, McGrail wins for Cab.

I think McGrail's Cabs are way more concentrated and 'estate' tasting, if that makes sense. Wente is good, but McGrail's just hit different, especially their Reserves.
